MONITORING CAMERA PICTURE RECORDING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check an intruder in a video recorder by superimposing video from a camera on a signal during picture recording as a slave picture image and recording it while a video recorder records and providing the video recorder with a function to display that a video signal from the camera is recorded. SOLUTION: One of video signals is connected to one end of a master/slave switching unit 14 as a master picture signal 16 and the other video signal is connected to one end of a slave video signal switching unit 10 as a slave picture video signal 17. The other end of the unit 10 is connected to an external video signal input terminal 6 and a monitoring camera output terminal 4 through a video signal line. A video signal selected by the unit 10 is processed by a slave video signal processing part 11 so that a slave picture can be composited at a prescribed position of a master picture and is outputted to the unit 14. The unit 14 is controlled by a controlling part 12 and outputs a video signal in which the master picture signal and the slave picture signal are mixed to a picture recording part 15.
