PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the increase of the phase delay of whole system caused by the load of a mechanism part when the shift of a lens for correction is small in an image pickup device that has a deflection correction optical system. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 15 obtains a focal distance of an image pickup optical system 1 through an image pickup optical system drive controlling means 4 and sets an initial value of a parameter of internal signal processing. When an image pickup device is shaken by blurring, an angular velocity sensor 10 detects angular velocity of a housing and angular velocity in a two-axis direction is inputted to the microcomputer 15 through an HPF 11, an LPF 12 and an A/D converting means 14. The microcomputer 15 changes a phase characteristic of a control system and compensates phase delay due to a load effect of a mechanism part which is generated when lens shift is small. |
