PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant current source capable of detecting short-circuit detection between terminals. SOLUTION: In the constant current source, in a case when the potential of a second terminal 2 is larger than a prescribed value, the output current value Io2 becomes nearly zero. In a case when first and second terminals 1 and 2 are short-circuited, a potential which raises the potential of the second terminal 2 to be larger than a prescribed value and is higher than the potential of the second terminal is given to the first terminal 1. In a case when the first and the second terminals 1 and 2, since the potential of the second terminal is raised to be larger than the prescribed value, the output current value Io2 of the second constant current source circuit becomes nearly zero to make it possible to detect short-circuit detection between the terminals 1 and 2.
