PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit stable operation of an insulated gate transistor by using a conductor bar as a distributing wire for short-circuiting separated emitter terminals, prior to performing wiring to the emitter terminals. SOLUTION: Althrough an IGBT module of small current capacity has a collector terminal and an emitter terminal, it becomes necessary to make a current capacity larger so as to make a module large-sized two-dimensionally by increasing the number of chips inside the module, and to multiply terminals for planar arrangement and for the reduction in the current density of each terminal. So, this IGBT module 1 has three collector terminals and three emitter terminals respectively, and the three emitter terminals are connected with a conductor bar 2 so that it serves also as a distributing wire to other apparatuses. When electrical wires are used for wiring to other apparatuses, the conductor bar is used to mutually connect only the emitter terminals. Consequently, it becomes possible to perform safe IGBT operation in an apparatus using an IGBT module having multiple terminals 2, to simplify terminals wiring, and to perform satisfactory high workability wiring.
