PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve maintainability by installing a driving means in the vicinity of an opening inside a pole body, connecting one end side of a wire rope to a lamp supporting body, and connecting the other end side to the driving means through a pulley. SOLUTION: A wire rope 6 of which one end is fixed to a lamp supporting body 3 is hung around a pulley 2, and its other end is fixed to a driving means 5. If a lid of an opening 1a is opened, the confirmation and operation of an operation part 5g can be performed and a brake part 5b can be mounted and dismounted. Because a drum 5f can be moved upward and downward by moving a screw upward and downward, the slack of the wire rope installed through the pulley 2 fixed at the upper part of a pole body 1 can be removed and thus, its tension can be adjusted. If the wire rope 6 is wound tip by driving a motor 5a, a luminaire 4 rises along with the lamp supporting body 3, and if the wire rope 6 is wound off, the luminaire 4 lowers together with the lamp supporting body 3. If it is lowered to the ground, the maintenance such as the replacement and cleaning of the luminaire 4, and the check and adjustment of the brake part is facilitated.
