ELECTRONIC CAMERA AND ITS CONTROLLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform swing and tilt correction in an electronic camera. SOLUTION: The light receiving surface of a CCD 6 is supported by a piezoelectric element 7 in a freely inclinable way. A user moves a rear edge surface 4 of bellows 3. A displacement sensor 5 detects the movement of the rear edge surface and a swing and tilt angle and a swing and tilt direction are detected. The element 7 is controlled based on the detected swing and tilt angle and swing and tilt direction. The light receiving surface of the CCD 6 is inclined and swing and tilt correction is performed.
