PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate influence of external environment such as a change with the passage of time, weather resistance or the like by holding an a.c. current supply circuit, a rectifier, and a d.c. current supply circuit in high insulating gas in a closed container, letting a.c. current flow in the a.c. current supply circuit through a current transformer outside the closed container, and converting the d.c. current by a rectifying circuit. SOLUTION: A d.c. cable 11 is charged with d.c. high voltage through a charging lead cable 14 from a d.c. high voltage generating device 12. Meanwhile, a.c. current is generated in a gas insulating bus bar tube through a current carrying CT 21 from an a.c. power supply, and converted into a d.c. current through an a.c. current supply circuit 17, a rectifier 16 and a d.c. current supply circuit 18 so that d.c. is applied. The electric circuits are supported by an insulating bushing 13, having a connecting terminal at the base and a conductor lead rod at the upper part in the atmosphere of high insulating gas such as SF6 gas in a closed container 10.
