KETOTIFEN PREPARATION FOR PERCUTANEOUS ABSORPTION

A preparation for percutaneous absorption which contains ketotifen and salts thereof as the active ingredients and further contains as base ingredients an N-vinylacetamide copolymer obtained mainly from N-vinylacetamide and a polymerizable monomer having a COOM group (wherein M represents hydrogen, an alkali metal salt, or an ammonium salt), a cross-linking agent, a polyhydric alcohol, a percutaneous absorption accelerator, and a pH regulator. The preparation has excellent percutaneous ketotifen absorption and satisfactory drug stability, is reduced in skin irritation, and has excellent drug activity.
