The invention aims to make it possible to subject a transformer or inductor (1), comprising a core (2) whose core limbs (3 to 5) are each coaxially enclosed by a winding (12 to 14) and are joined together by their end sides via yokes (6) which are compressed by means of frame elements (7, 8), to a torque reliably and with as little eddy-current loss as possible. To this end the invention provides for pulling elements in the form of pull wires (19) to extend alongside the core limbs (3 to 5).
