The roll forming machine tool has a tool holder (7) with a roller screw spindle drive with a spindle (11) and nut (12). The spindle nut is tensioned by hydraulic actuators on both sides to oppose the tool holder. The hydraulic actuators are controlled from a common source (C) via a servo valve (17).
