<p>The invention concerns a station for boarding (1) a chair lift (1) for ropeway transport (3) moving continuously, the chair lift (2) comprising several seats (4), with at least a seating accommodation for passenger (s) (5), coupled with the ropeway (3) with regular spacing either fixed or detachable, at the boarding station (1), relative to said ropeway (3), each seat (4) being taken in charge by successive ramps, called arrival (6), run around (7) and departure (8) ramps, the arrival (6) and departure ramps (8) being parallel. The invention is characterised in that the run around ramp (7) comprises two turnings, upstream (9) and downstream (11), separated by a rectilinear transfer ramp (10), and a boarding site (12) is located at the downstream turning (11) exit, the angle α between the arrival (6) and transfer (10) ramps, corresponding to the upstream turning (9), is acute and the angle between the transfer (10) and departure (8) ramp, corresponding to the downstream turning (11) is obtuse, and the drive elements causes each seat (4) to pivot on itself at the transfer ramp (10).
