The object side lens group (10) has a positive refractive power. The picture-side lens group (20) has a negative refractive power and is separated from the object-side lens group by an amount which is varied by adjusting the focal length. A closure arrangement (S) is positioned between the lenses of the object-side lens group. For fine focusing, the picture-side lens group is moved along the optical axis.
