The push-in coupling (1) for connecting two plastic tubes has a sleeve (3) open on opposite front and rear sides having each one clamping device (3) in the sleeve (2) terminal parts and with flap packings (18). The clamping device contains a steel clamping ring (7) that is provided with a slot (6) and that is on its circumference outer side provided with a clamping cone (8) and on the inner side thereof with at least one clamping rib (9). The steel clamping ring (7) is inserted in a recess (12) performed in the sleeve (2) and opened at its front edge and being provided with a supporting cone (11), whereby the steel clamping ring (7) is fastened in said recess (12) by means of a cap nut (14) screwed on said sleeve (2) corresponding terminal part. The flap packing (18) consists of a trapezoidal supporting ring (19) and a shaped sealing flap (20) and is arranged in a recess that consists of a groove (16) and a bearing surface (17). The supporting ring (19) is put in the groove (16) and the sealing flap (20) bears against the bearing surface (17). The supporting cone (11) is made on a supporting conical ring (13) and it is put together with the steel clamping ring (7) into the recess (12) open at the edge.
