Method for signalling services in telephone networks with analog subscriber connections

The method involves transmitting (2) a typical service identifier to an associated originating network node from a terminal which has made (1) a connection (RA) and before sending selection information (3). The identifier is temporarily stored in the node and transferred (6) to the destination node identified by the selection information when entered. The destination node sends an identifier signal to the calling subscriber connection. The terminal decodes and compares the identifier and is activated if the received and stored identifiers coincide.
