<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sufficient effect of suppressing the release of chlorine compds. and to reduce a treatment cost at the time of a heat treatment by adding waste concrete materials and/or waste ALC(aerated lightweight concrete) materials to waste and heat treating these waste and waste materials under specific temp. conditions. SOLUTION: A waste to be treated includes industrial waste contg. waste wood, waste paper, waste fibers, etc., and waste such as municipal refuse, in addition to waste plastics. For example, shredder dust which is pulverized matter of interior parts, etc., of waste automobiles, waste household electrical appliances, etc., is exemplified. Waste concrete materials and/or waste ALC materials are added to such waste. The waste and waste materials are then heat treated under an oxygen-free atmosphere or a gaseous atmosphere contg. oxygen at a ratio of <=5 vol.%. A heating furnace used for heat treatment is preferably a fluidized bed furnace, fixed bed furnace, moving bed furnace, etc. The temp. conditions at the time of the heat treatment are specified to 360 to 600 deg.C, more preferably 400 to 550 deg.C.</p> |
