PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit printing, applied on the lower end rim of side wall of a matter to be printed, and making the inclination of the jig hard to permit correct printing even when the jig is pushed by a roller. SOLUTION: A matter 1 to be printed, having a side wall 1a, is mounted on a printing jig to turn the matter 1 while pinching the same between a roller 2 and print a plate pattern, adhered to the roller 2, on the matter 1. In this case, the height of the side surface 3a of a mounting unit 3, contacted with the side wall 1a of the matter 1 to be printed, is specified so as to be higher than that of the side wall 1a so that the side wall 1a is contacted with a part deviated from a position, opposed to a rotary shaft 4 on the side surface 3a.
