PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral chip conveyor on which oil drains so well that chips do not cling to its spiral screw, etc. SOLUTION: In a spiral chip conveyor, a rectangular hopper 1 is provided with a punched plate 1b having a number of pores 1a therein. A pipe 3 has its entrance coupled to the releasing hole of the hopper 1. A chip auxiliary groove 4 is provided in the upper portion of the pipe 2 and a discharge opening 5 from which only chips are discharged is provided at the downstream end of the pipe 3. A wiper 2 reciprocating and rotating by half is provided on the inner surface of the punched plate 1b and a chip auxiliary cover 6 covers the chip auxiliary groove 4 while having a space. A chip auxiliary opening 7 is provided in the hopper 1 and coupled to the chip auxiliary groove 4. Finally, a spiral screw 8 is provided inside the pipe 3 and the outer periphery of the spiral screw 8 freely rotationally makes contact with the interior wall of the pipe 3. Therefore, oil drains well and the chips do not cling to the conveyor.
