PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifying device capable of keeping a mineral content in purified water almost constant from the beginning of usage to the last of life of a water purifying instrument. SOLUTION: For a water purifying device A, a water purifying instrument 1, a water introducing pipe 2 for introducing city water to the water purifying instrument 1, a water discharging pipe 3 discharging purified water, a water returning pipe 4 for returning a part of the purified water to upstream side of the water purifying instrument 1, a variable orifice 5 disposed at a water returning pipe 4, a nonreturn valve 6, a water returning pump 7, a water wheel 8 for driving the pump disposed at the water introducing pipe 2 and a passed water volume integrating means 9 integrating the water volume passed through the water purifying instrument 1 are provided, and as integrated water volume passed through the instrument is enlarged, an opening degree of the variable orifice 5 is enlarged.
