PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for single crystal pulling-up equipment which has simple constitution and is capable of stably holding and pulling up single crystal. SOLUTION: This holder 11 for single crystal pullin-up equipment holds single crystal 7 being formed by pulling up seed crystal 1 immersed in molten liquid 4 while rotating the seed crystal 1 in such a way that plural claws 9A and 9B are engaged with an engaged stepped part 8 formed between the straight body of the single crystal 7 and the seed crystal 1. In this case, at least one of claws 9A and 9B has a forked shaped formed in almost the same one horizontal plane.
