PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To draw a picture pattern on a ceramic with a light emitting material. SOLUTION: A proper pattern 2 is drawn on the surface of a ceramic base material 1 formed into a prescribed shape and after a part, on which a luminous pattern is to be drawn, is formed into a recessed state, the ceramic base material is fired by the well-known method to form a product and after that, a mixture of a light emitting agent with glass powder is placed on the recessed part and the glass powder is further placed thereon to uniformly level the surface and after that, the product is fired again at 600-1000 deg.C.
