PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably adjust braking force by an operation outer side a reel in a centrifugal braking device for a double bearing reel. SOLUTION: A brake shoe 27 is made slidable along a guide 18 attached to a spool 4 by the centrifugal force on rotation of the spool 4. A stopper 23 is provided to regulate the sliding motion of the brake shoe 27 to the guide 18. An annular brake 27 is set to the body 1 of a reel so that the brake shoe 27 may contact with the brake 28 at its one end. An adjusting mechanism 39 or the like is set so that it may be operated from the outside of the reel body 1 whereby the interval between the brake shoe 27 and the annular brake 28 is adjusted in the spool shaft direction.
