PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a molder, which can decide a set pressure in a low pressure mold clamping process at all times to a proper one by a method wherein an operator can precisely and visually recognize a peak pressure of an actually measured mold clamping pressure in the low pressure mold clamping process. SOLUTION: In a molder, in which a low pressure mold clamping process for detecting whether a foreign matter is present or not on the parting molding surfaces of a mold before the touching of a movable mold 4 with a fixed mold 2 is provided so as to enter a high pressure mold clamping process for generating a predetermined mold clamping force after the low pressure mold clamping process, a pressure detecting means for measuring the mold clamping pressure in the low pressure mold clamping process, a peak pressure detecting means for detecting the peak pressure during the low pressure mold clamping process interval from the actually measured pressure outputted from the above- mentioned pressure detecting means and a displaying processing means for displaying the peak pressure outputted from the peak pressure detecting means on the displaying screen are equipped.
