PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition which is excellent in curability, storage stability and has improved resistance to corrosion by copper, by incorporating a specific amount of a curing catalyst such as an (alkylacetoacetato)tin or the like and/or a polycondensate thereof or the like into a room temperature curable polyorganosiloxane composition. SOLUTION: The objective composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of a room temperature curable polyorganosiloxane composition and 0.5-15 pts.wt. of a curing catalyst comprising a compound represented by formula I such as an (alkylacetoacetato)tin and/or a polycondensate thereof or the like. The polyorganosiloxane composition comprises a silicon functional polydiorganosiloxane having at least two, on the average, hydrolyzable groups, represented by formula II and/or a silicon functional polydiorganosiloxane having at least two, on the average, silicon functional groups and a crosslinking agent such as tetramethoxysilane or the like. In the formulae, R1-R4 are each a monovalent hydrocarbyl group; R5 is ZSiR63-pXp (wherein Z is O or a divalent hydrocarbyl group; R6 is a monovalent hydrocarbyl group; X is a silicon functional group; and (p) is 1-3); and (a) is 1-3.
