PRODUCTION OF HIGHLY DENSIFIED CIRCULAR KNIT FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a circular knit fabric high in density and appropriate in rigidity, firm texture and stretchability. SOLUTION: This method comprises: forming knitted loops by using a synthetic fiber multifilament yarn with a single fiber fineness of 0.1 to 3.0 denier and a highly condensable multifilament yarn having a single fiber fineness of 1.5 to 5.0 denier, boiling water shrinkage of 15 to 40% and maximum thermal stress of >=0.3 g/denier; positioning the synthetic fiber multifilament yarn outside the knitted loops and the highly condensable multifilament yarn inside the knitted loops; weaving it in such a manner that an interknitting rate of the highly condensable multifilament yarn is 10 to 50 wt.%; and subjecting the woven knit fabric to dyeing finishing process.
