PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilizer for oil-in-water emulsion type defoaming agents, not causing the separation of an oil from water, even when stored for a long period, and having excellent viscosity stability. SOLUTION: This stabilizer for oil-in-water emulsion type defoaming agents contains as a main component a polysaccharide substantially comprising fucose, glucose, glucronic acid and rhamnose in a constituting monosaccharide weight ratio of 1:(0.5-4):(0.5-2):(0.5-2), and/or a polysaccharide substantially comprising fucose, glucose, glucronic acid, rhamnose and mannose in a constituting monosaccharide weight ratio of 1:(0.5-4):(0.5-2):(0.5-2):(0.005-1). |
