PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat generator capable of guaranteeing the total calorific value if each component is manufactured with excellent accuracy. SOLUTION: Bearing devices 6, 7 comprising single row angular contact ball bearings are locked between forward and rear housings 1, 4 and a drive shaft 8 across a rotor 9 in the longitudinal direction. The bearing devices 6, 7 have contact angleθ1,θ2 at which respective working points A1, A2 are brought close from axes L1, L2, therefore an interval between forward and rear end faces 2a, 4a of a heat generation chamber 5 and forward and rear end faces 9b, 9c of the rotor 9 is regulated.
