PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an inoculation effect big by effectively working an inoculation agent. SOLUTION: In an inoculation method of a molten metal, wherein an inoculation agent is added to the molten metal at the time of casting, a prescribed volume of an inoculation agent T is supplied to a pouring basin part 24 which has a larger volume than a product molding part of a mold and is linked with the product molding part 27, and the molten metal is charged in the powering basin part 24. Furthermore, the molten metal, to which the agent T is added, is transferred from the pouring basin part 24 to the product molding part 27. Therefore, the prescribed volume of the agent T is surely added to the molten metal which is equal to the capacity of the pouring basin part 24. Further, since the pouring basin part 24 and the product molding part 27 are linked, the molten metal to which the agent T is added, can be transferred from the pouring basin part 24 to the product molding part 27 in a short time.
