PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyphenylene ether based resin composition sharply improved in stress cracking resistance while retaining excellent properties in respects of mechanical properties, flowability and external appearance of molded articles. SOLUTION: The objective polyphenylene ether based resin composition comprises (A) a polyphenylene ether based resin; (B) a polystyrene based resin: and (C) a hydrogenated alkenyl aromatic compound/conjugated diene compound block copolymer having a number average molecular weight of the alkenyl aromatic block of 2,000-15,000 at a weight ratio of (A) to (B) of 10/90-99/1 and with an amount of (C) of 1-30 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. total amount of (A) and (B). |
