PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided an adjusting device that can perform linear adjustment and can clearly and easily show a user a position of the adjusting device before start of an operation. SOLUTION: While progress of rotation of adjusting rings 5 for interconnecting at least two air introducing/feeding passages 4, 6, opening portions of the air introducing/feeding passage 4, 6 moving out of the range of a recessed part 9 decrease continuously gradually, and finally the end surfaces of at least one, preferably both, of the air introducing/feeding passages 4, 6 face a cylindrical inner peripheral surface 11, especially preferably is separated from the recessed part 9, and thereby air flow can be adjusted. A ball lock mechanism 16 which can easily and accurately define an adjustment position and prevent unexpected rotation is provided in a body 15 and comprises an elastically loaded ball which alternately reaches a semi-sphere recessed part of one or other of adjusting rings 5 and fixes positions of both of these members by force connection.
