PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of holding recording sheets discharged at a predetermined position without causing dropping. SOLUTION: A printer 1 has a recording sheet receiver 8 standingly provided at a preset height on the downstream side of a discharge port in a case 2 in the direction of discharging the recording sheet for receiving small-diameter recording sheets 60 discharged out of a discharge port 20. A recording sheet storage 21 capable of storing long recording sheets 61 discharged out of the discharge port 20 with the ends directed downward in almost vertical is provided near the recording sheet receiver 8 in the case 2. The recording sheet storage 21 is formed so as to prevent the long recording sheets 61 from escaping therefrom. When the long recording sheets 61 are discharged, the recording sheets 61 are supported in the bent condition by the recording sheet receiver 8.
