PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the voltage fluctuation at the end of a feeder line by a simple means. SOLUTION: In a method to regulate the voltage at the end of a feeder line 3 to compensate the voltage fluctuation at the end of the feeder line 3 by a link converter 13 connected to the end of the feeder line 3 of an AC electric railway through a link transformer 12, a battery 14 and a DC capacitor 15 are connected to the DC side of the link converter 13 in parallel, the long- term fluctuation of the effective power is compensated by the battery 14, and the short-term fluctuation of the effective power is compensated by a DC capacitor 15. |
