The inventive stamping punch unit consists of a stamping punch (16) and elastic means (38) arranged between a stamp driver (30) and a guide bushing (18). In order to reduce the noise level during stamping, stamping punches are already fitted with an inclined ground section. The extra lift that is required is not, however, often taken into account in stamping punch units that are known per se. According to the invention, the stamping punch is guided in a stripper plate (58) that is radially adapted to the guide bushing (18). The stamping punch (16) comprises an inclined ground section and a gas pressure spring (38) is provided as elastic means. The inventive stamping punch unit enables low-noise stamping processes to be performed and fits into the usual toolholder fixtures. |
