FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method includes presenting to patient under conditions of separation of fields of vision from monitor screen, test objects in the form of stereopairs consisting of vertical sinusoidal lattices located one above another with the same spatial frequency and different disparity within range of spatial frequencies from 0.25 to 22 cycle/deg. Stereovision threshold is determined in angular seconds for each examined spatial frequency. If level of detected stereovision threshold on one or several special frequencies exceeds the age norm, disturbed stereovision is diagnosed. EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnosis of stereovision disturbance with possibility of correction of test results in connection with age of tested patient. 4 dwg, 3 ex
