PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain pipe body capable of securing a required drain discharge even though the pipe body is laid inside a wall having a thin wall thickness. SOLUTION: A drain pipe body 3 is installed inside a wall of a building and comprises a main body pipe portion 3a through which drain water flows, a first connecting portion 3d at the upper portion of the main body pipe portion 3a and a second connecting portion 3e at the lower portion of the main body pipe portion 3a. And the main body pipe portion 3a has a cross section shape perpendicular to the direction of a drain flow which is extended long in the direction Y along the wall compared to the wall thickness direction X. By doing this, the area S1 of the inner space of the cross section of the main body pipe portion 3a can be made larger and, as a result, the drain discharge flowing inside of the main body pipe portion 3a can be increased.
