PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for liquid jet recording head in which cutting and separation of common liquid chamber can be performed surely by curing a curable resin without causing any shrinkage thereby suppressing warp of a substrate as much as possible. SOLUTION: A liquid jet recording head comprises a first substrate 1 provided with a solid layer 2 occupying the part for forming an ejection pressure generating element 14 and a liquid channel, a curable resin layer 8 arranged on the first substrate 1, and a second substrate 5 located on the resin layer 8. A liquid chamber 10 is formed by cutting the resin layer 8 above the solid layer 2, a liquid channel 11 is formed by removing the solid layer 2 and individual recording heads 30 are manufactured by separating the liquid chamber 10. In such a method for manufacturing a liquid jet recording head, the liquid chamber 10 is cut under semi-cured state of the curable resin such that the resin is left partially on the wall face of a supply port 4 and the resin is cut off after it has cured thoroughly thus obtaining individual recording heads 30.
