PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration caused by the driving device of a fret sawing machine. SOLUTION: A sliding rod 19 supporting a fret saw blade 23 is held in a frame 11 so as to enable reciprocating sliding movement in the vertical direction. A crank shaft 13 is driven by the output shaft 12a of a motor 12 set in the inside of the frame. The interval between the crank pin 14 of the crank shaft and the sliding rod 19 is connected by a connecting rod 17. A balance weight 16 is provided on the side opposite to the crank arm of the crank shaft. The connecting rod and the motor are arranged mutually on the opposite side by placing the sliding rod in the interval thereof. The crank shaft is arranged together with the balancing weight under the sliding rod. Thereby, repeated bending does not act on between the balancing weight and the sliding rod and vibration is decreased.
