PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid crystal polymer composition having excellent feeding properties in extrusion, slight abrasion of screw and barrel in extrusion and molding, capable of providing a molding product with excellent mechanical strength by mixing a liquid crystal polymer with a synthetic silica. SOLUTION: (A) A liquid crystal polymer in an amount of 100 pts.wt. is mixed with (B) 5-250 pts.wt. of a synthetic silica having <=15 mμaverage particle diameter subjected to surface treatment and preferably further (C) 0.1-10 wt.% based on the synthetic silica of silicon dioxide having 1-50 mμm. The amount of a surface treating agent (e.g. a silane-based coupling agent or a silylating agent) is preferably 0.01-2.0 wt.% based on the synthetic silica. The component A is preferably an aromatic polyester or an aromatic polyesteramide. An inorganic filler, a nucleating agent, a pigment such as carbon black except the component B can be added to the composition.
