<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array light source which has accurate dimensions, does not require a troublesome operation in the bonding of light emitting elements and is formed of the multiple of light emitting elements and an image recorder using the array light source. SOLUTION: Light emitting element groups 110a, 110b are cut out from a semiconductor wafer having a plurality of light emitting elements tow- dimensionally provided thereon such that each group has one row or plural rows of light emitting elements. The light emitting element groups 110a, 110b are provided on a substrate 101 such that they are arranged in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the row of the light emitting elements. The light emitting elements in the plural light emitting element groups arranged thereon are selectively used.</p> |
