PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a roll type photosensitive material packaged body that even when a light-shielding leader of the body is pulled by mistake, the tension is not directly applied on the starting part of tearing of the light- shielding member on the side face, and therefore to prevent unintended release of the light-shielding property. SOLUTION: The outer diameter of the side face light-shielding member 130 is larger than the outer diameter of the scroll of the roll type photosensitive material. The part of the member 130 larger than the outer diamter of the scroll of the roll type photosensitive material is folded into pleats in almost radial direction at plural positions so that the area is bent on the outer edge along the outer face of the scroll and that the area is laminated, stuck and fixed to the outer face of the scroll of the roll type photosensitive material. A part of the top end of the light-shielding leader is adhered to the outer face of the second turn of the roll of the light-shielding leader. The top end of the light-shielding leader has smaller width than the leader and is extended from the starting point where the side face light-shielding member 130 is torn by pulling the leader 120.
