PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigator that simplifies procedures when setting location information regarding a memory location corresponding to the memory location and can be used easily. SOLUTION: A navigator is provided with a voice-processing part consisting of a microphone and a voice recognition unit for recognizing voice inputted from the microphone. When a name-setting request is inputted from the voice- processing part, a memory location being set to a position closest to the center of a map being displayed on a display screen is specified as a memory location (S100, S110). After that, when the reading of the name of the memory location is inputted via the voice-processing part, it is converted to a chinese character and the list of shown candidates is shown on the screen and the shown candidates being selected according to an instruction that is inputted via the voice-processing part are registered while they correspond to previously specified memory locations along with the reading of the name (S120-S280), thus setting the location information of names or the like easily without any key operation or the like. |
