PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an opening and closing door of a waste straw-shredding device from being unreasonably brought into contact with a packer of a knotter. SOLUTION: This structure of a waste straw-treating part is constituted so that the opening and closing swinging range of an opening and closing door 13 of a waste straw-shredding device 9, and the moving locus of a packer 19 for raking the waste straw in, of a knotter 10 may be overlapped or brought near, and has an operation member 37 for operating a clutch 26 for stopping and holding the packer 19 for raking the waste straw in at the position departed from the overlapping or brought-near range to the opening and closing swinging range of the opening and closing door 13, in a stopped and held state, and installed so as to be synchronized with the opening and closing door 13. The operation member 31 is regulated so that the operation member 37 may contact with the clutch 26 for stopping in an elastically urged state in the range from the closed state of the opening and closing door 13 to the prescribed intermediate position to the maximum opened state, and the operation member 37 may contact with the clutch 26 for stopping in a solid state according to the movement of the opening and closing door 13 to the open side beyond the prescribed intermediate position.
