PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the lateral rigidity of a conveyor belt without depending on the increase/decrease in the number of plies and the increase/decrease in the count of canvas weft and moreover to improve longitudinal and lateral expansiveness. SOLUTION: A conveyor belt with a cord reinforcing layer embedded between an upper face cover rubber layer 1 and a lower face cover rubber layer 2 is provided with at least a set of a first bias cord layer 4 provided with a plurality of cords 4a with the same tilt angleα1 to the longitudinal direction of the belt, and a second bias cord layer 5 provided with a plurality of cords 5a with the same tile angleα2 to the longitudinal direction of the belt as the tilt angleα1 of each cord 4a in the first bias cord layer 4 but in a retrorse state.
