PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and miniaturize a disconnector by providing a movable contact fixed to the end side of a contact holding member and arranged in such a manner as to be contactable with and separable from a fixed contact arranged opposite thereto. SOLUTION: Annular sliding members 51, 52 are mounted on a contact holding member 50 having a movable finger moved together with a contact 53 to slide the circumference of a guide member through both the annular sliding members 51, 52. The structure of a moving member is thereby simplified. The center of gravity C leaves the tip of the movable finger contact 52, or the space E is increased, and the space D is also reduced and made constant. Further, the diameters of both the annular sliding members 51, 52 can be increased to about the inside diameter of the movable finger 53. Accordingly, since the surface pressure added to both the annular sliding members 51, 52 is reduced, and the space B between both the annular sliding members 51, 52 can be minimized, the axial length as a disconnector can be shortened to allow the miniaturization.
