The invention concerns a plate heat exchanger wherein a plate array (4) and a liquid droplet separator (5) are arranged in a common sealed containment (2). A partition (6) divides the sealed containment (2) internal volume into a first chamber (7) wherein is arranged the plate array (4) and a second chamber (8) wherein is arranged a droplet eliminator (18). A duct (12b) connected to an outlet (10b) for the second fluid from the plate array (4) passes through the partition (6) to emerge into the second chamber (8)of the sealed containment (2). The second fluid, which consists of a gas or vapour containing liquid droplets at the plate exchanger plate array (4) outlet, is introduced into the chamber (8) through the duct (12b), passes through the liquid droplet eliminator (18) and exits from the sealed containment (2) through a branch pipe (17). |
