PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve dust collecting performance as well as smell removing performance and prevent the deterioration of a fan motor for operating an air cleaner by a method wherein an air pressure detector is provided on the suction port of the fan and the clogging of a filter for the air cleaner by dust is detected by the output signal of the detector. SOLUTION: A fan 15 for an air cleaner is operated and air 16a for cleaning is sucked through a grille suction port 12, then, dust and smell are removed by a filter 13 and are discharged out of a send-out port 14. Upon heating operation, mixed warm-air is sent out of a warm-air send-out port 5 by a convection fan 4 to effect heating operation. Warm air 3 is sent out to the fore part of instruments and is elevated to the upper part of the inside of a room. In this case, an air pressure detector 21 detects the clogging of dust and transmits the same to a control device 23 and when an air pressure has become higher than a predetermined value, the controller 23 indicates the clogging of dust and informs the clogging of dust. The air pressure detector 21 is provided at the inside of the filter 13 for air cleaning whereby the clogging of the filter by dust can be detected in an early period. |
