PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect two perforation holes at the same time with the same resolution as a scan on a single perforation hole by providing a projection device and permitting the image of at least two perforation holes to be supplied to a single scanning device via the projection device. SOLUTION: Two perforation holes 17 and 18 which are provided to a film and positioned facing each other are scanned and then used, to not only make vertical and horizontal image position corrections but also correct the deviation of an angle between both the perforation holes 17 and 18 and a sharing error or rotational error at an image position. To detect the two perforation holes 17 and 18 by a single-line camera a prism (projection device) 16 is arranged in front of the single-line camera. An image 19 of the perforation holes 17 and 18 can be detected by the single-line camera with this prism 16.
