PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support the weight of a joint and an axial load with a drive unit via a thrust bearing and also support an axial load caused by thermal expansion in a shaft system so as to restrain actions of these axial loads to an elastic material for ensuring a stable and long use of elastic joint. SOLUTION: A space 6 is formed between an inner race 2 fixed to a universal joint U side and a support shaft 3 provided at an output shaft (e) of a drive unit E. A thrust bearing 7 is provided in the space 6 to restrict the axial movement of the inner race 2, thereby restraining an influence of an axial load on an elastic material (f) by way of supporting the weight of a joint and the axial load with a bearing of the drive unit E via the thrust bearing 7.
