<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonmagnetic toner for developing an electrostatic latent image excellent in transferability and capable of forming a good image not only in a low speed region but also in a high speed region. SOLUTION: The nonmagnetic toner has an average circularity of >=0.960, a standard deviation of circularity of <=0.040 and surface properties satisfying the inequality D/d50>=0.40, wherein d50 is the weight average particle diameter of the toner, D=6/(ρ.S),ρis the true density (g/cm3) of the toner and S is the BET specific surface area (m2/g) of the toner. When the toner is compressed under 1 kg/cm2, sticking stress is <=6 g/cm2.</p> |
