PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-priced and easy-to-maintain train position detecting apparatus having high positioning accuracy. SOLUTION: Normally, a train position detecting part 6a calculates the position of a train by integrating data from a traveling distance detecting part 4. When a rail joint detection signal, obtained by performing feature extracting of the signal wave form of an oscillating sensor 16, is inputted from a signal processing part 17, data on distance in km closest to the position of the train which is calculated based on the data from the traveled distance detecting part 4 are searched and corrected among the data extracted in advance on the distance in km of the rail joint position on the traveling railway of a train 1, and the current position of the train is set. |
