摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately estimate conditions in a melting furnace by using two or more input signals such as voltage between a main electrode and a furnace bottom electrode, current flowing between these electrodes, insertion position of the main electrode, supply state of a matter to be melted and the like, and effecting a particular operation control according to combinations of signal change states. SOLUTION: In signals such as voltage between a main electrode 5 and a furnace bottom electrode 6 measured by a voltmeter 30, current flowing between the main electrode 5 and the furnace bottom electrode 6 measured by an ammeter 31, insertion position of the main electrode 5 measured by an electrode position detector 33 and supply state of a matter to be melted measured by a charging and weighing device 32 are inputted to a voltage detection arithmetic operation unit 22a, a current detection arithmetic operation unit 22b, an electrode position detection arithmetic operation unit 22c and a supply state detection arithmetic operation unit 22c respectively so as to execute a specified arithmetic processing. These four processed signals are inputted to a condition judging device 21 so as to grasp melting operation conditions in a furnace according to combinations of change state of the four signals and a particular control signal is outputted to a furnace controller 20 side.</p>
